Bahama Mama!

Every year my mom's side of the family get together for the "Girl Party". We usually just get together for a weekend in October. While we are together we make crafts, go out to dinner together, and just hang out together. The one rule is NO BOYS allowed!!!!! For the yearly girl party all ages are invited aunts, grandmas, second cousins, sisters, and nieces. Every 5 years we do a cruise. I was unable to go to the last cruise, but its been 5 years and we went on a cruise to the Bahamas!!! The rule for the 5 year girl party is that the girls coming have to be over 12. So in other words NO R! I love her very much, but it was nice to get away!!
We have family from all over the states so for this cruise we all met in Miami on Thursday morning. This was in the front of our hotel.
Thursday afternoon we went to the Everglades. To start off our trip we were all able to hold a REAL alligator. CRAZY!!!

This was almost everyone that came. Yes all(except 2) are ALL related!! We went out on the air boats over the Everglades
Our air boat driver stopped and let some of us get out into the Everglades. GROSS!!

Friday morning we boarded our ship. My sister Mindy had a horrible accident at work which messed up her mouth really bad so she had just had 4 root canals 2 days earlier. She really is excited to be going, but just can't smile. Its still a funny picture!

Saturday morning Nassau Bahamas. I did see the courthouse where John Travolta's trial is going on!!!

We were able to fed them these dead little fish. That was a strange feeling!
We were even able to hold a stingray. She really liked me. Her head is against my stomach.

Saturday night it SNOWED in the Bahamas. Ok not really, but it they did make it snow on deck at a huge party they called "White Hot Party". Everyone was suppose to come dressed in white(as much as they had)!
My mom was a crazy partier. This is 3 of us. Mindy was in pain back in our cabin :(
A Girl Party, on a cruise ship, or not would not be complete without tons of "May I" card games going on. May I is a family game that is similar to Phase 10, but MUCH better!
Sunday morning we arrived at NCL's private island. This is my sister and I with our boat in the background. Again Mindy wasn't feeling the best and so she played on deck while we went out to the island!

With Norwegian Cruise its "freestyle" meaning that you are free to do what you want, when you want. On most cruises they have set meals, and you sit with the same people each night, and have to dress up every night. On this you could eat where you wanted, when you wanted, and with whom you wanted. So we decided that we would all get together on Sunday night as our Dress up night. This is me ready for the dinner!
These are all my cousins that were able to come. There are still more girls missing! We missed them!

Cruising is the best way to go for a vacation!! This was such a fun experience to have with my family! I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my family!! I love you all!!!
