This year was a little different.
Half of my mom's family went to Hawaii for the Girl Party, while the other half went to my Aunt Need's house in Ely, Nevada.
We were the lucky ones who went to Nevada.
On the way there, this was my traveling companion.
Yes, it's a girl party and he is a boy, but Jared has been in SLC training for his
new job, so he joined the party!
He didn't last the whole way though!
"sleeping"
My Aunt lives on an pretty awesome property.
There is a big natural hot spring that is channeled to these pools.
The water was PERFECT!!!
R, my mom, Issac, Kylie, P, and Kayla
My water babies!
This is where the hot water is channeled into the pools
After the nice water time, my kids had an amazing experience that they won't ever forget.
My Aunt lives on a farm with cows. They were able to tag along.
Our view...
Rounding up the cows, modern cowboy ways... 4 wheelers!
They spent SO much time with Aunt Need rounding up the cows!
Then she pulled out the horse.
My kids were in heaven!
Back at the warm springs.
Gorgeous!
Isn't my nephew cute?
He is 6 months old and has already had 1 hair cut!
By this time, my Aunt LeAnn and cousin McKenna had joined the party!
I didn't want to go in the second time, and was FREEZING out of the water!
All the cow herding seriously wiped my little man out!
At dinner:
My mom, Issac, Aunt LeAnn, Aunt Need, and Kylie
our table, and yes P is asleep:
McKenna, me, P, Kayla, and R
Next day had more crafts.
One of the kid's finished crafts
Kylie and I working on our wreaths
then my kids got a hold of my camera, this was one worth posting!
After crafts, Aunt Need (the favorite by this point) took the kids out on the cold water pond to Jimmy Island
Then took turns fishing on the dock of the cold water pond.
My finished crafts.
Bird's nest necklace pendant
Christmas frame
Christmas wreath
Then the kids we out again with Aunt Need rounding up the cows.
No kidding, this day they were out on the 4 wheelers for at least 4 hours, and could have spent all day!
Then we rode Ely's Haunted Ghost Train
Aunt Need, Aunt LeAnn, McKenna, Kylie, and Issac
R, my mom, Kayla, me, and P
It started at 7 which is 8pm Utah time. Added with the 4 hour cow herding adventure the 2 little boys were gone before the train ride finished! P did REALLY enjoy this though!
The last day the little pond was too hot to swim in, so they hit the larger pool!
I made all the kids take a nap once we got in the car.
This is seriously how they fell asleep!
You can click to enlarge, but this is a screen shot of the property that we stayed on!
It was a GREAT Girl Party! I asked my kids and Kayla what there favorite part was, and they all agreed it was "rounding up the cows"!

Tracee, I was reading your blog, and you mentioned Ely Nevada. That is where my mom grew up and where my grandparents still live, small world :)
