It was a beautiful day and we were heading to Provo Canyon for a hike and to play in the river.
As we drove downtown, we noticed the city splash pad was open!
My kids were set on a change of plans.
So we raced back home for swim wear, picked up some lunch,
and had a great afternoon at the splash pad instead!

My kids thought they were so cool by sticking their heads under the waterfall!

Every time the sun would go behind a cloud it was a little chilly for the wet ones!
They found ways to stay warm until the sun would come back out!
Jared and I just sat under the shade of a tree and watched our kids run wild!
It was a great afternoon, even with the change of plans!
