Dying Easter Eggs!
Easter is fast approaching, and everyone should dye Easter Eggs. I realized that we had not dyed Easter Eggs. Last year we attempted, but R didn't really understand . So this year, we invaded Darwin and Kiara's house, and colored Easter Eggs!
This is R getting ready. I prepared for the worst not knowing how she would actually do, but I knew it would be messy.
This was the first dip. I wish I had a video camera, because after this she threw it into the tub of dye! Nice thinking on the grubby towels underneath Kiara!
Trying to be independent and use the tool to get the egg out!
Everyone stopping from the egg magic for a picture!
Here are our finished masterpieces! A cool trick Kiara showed us, the egg on the far left had veggie oil added to the dye and it came out like that. This picture doesn't do it justice, but it was a fun twist! Be sure to do those eggs last because the dye stays like that after the oil is added! Thanks for letting us crash your house D & K!! Sorry about your shirt K!!!

She is so cute! We are doing our eggs tomorrow, and are so excited! That little apron is SO darling!
how fun - I'm going to try that trick tonight. R is getting so big! We should get together soon!
As far as I can tell, the orange dye came out of my shirt...it was a grubby shirt anyway. No worries, T! I'm glad you guys came over and invaded. We always love when you come over...how about Saturday for pizza and a movie? I'll call you :)
How fun! I like to dye Easter eggs, your eggs turned out great. Glad you had a good time.
