For the last few years, the same awesome pumpkin patch (mentioned before) hosts the "Slash Bash". They use all the unsold pumpkins and destroy them in various ways. My sister has gone before, but this was our first time.
First was with a baseball bat!
Carrying their next pumpkins to their destruction.
They also would fill this huge crate up with pumpkins.
Hoist it up into the air, and let them fall!
Next was paintball
This was P's favorite!

Then they were loaded up on a scissor lift...
...then threw their pumpkins over the edge!
There were other ways, but we were very ill prepared and we were FREEZING!
And by "we" and really mean I!!!

Oh man! I wish we had known about this! We drove past and saw tons of people there and the crane and stuff but we didn't know what was going on. Next year, for sure! :)
