Pioneer Day

We started this 24th of July early so that R could run the Temple to Temple 5K.
I would have walked with with P, but being SOOO pregnant
I figured it wasn't the best idea! :)
She made it!

The group that ran it with R!
We then went home for a while and then headed to Mapleton for their festivities!
First was the pingpong ball drop. They separate kids into age groups, then call the different groups out one at a time. They then drop pingpong balls with numbers on them out of a helicopter. Each kid picks one, and later prizes are given away to lucky numbers that are drawn.

P's age group is the youngest and they don't want lost kids after so they just get a wristband with a number on it.
 Here are R's being dropped!
While we waited for R to come back, P entertained himself by pushing his legos into my VERY swollen feet. These pictures don't do it justice. It was actually pretty comical!

She got a pingpong ball, but ended up with no prize this year!
Then before the concert started in the same field, my kids played soccer...
 ...and some relaxing!
By this time, my sister and her crew of kids (not all hers) joined us.
It made entertaining the two a lot easier!!!

Jared was lucky and got off early enough to come join us at the park!!!
Then it got dark, and the glow sticks came out!

 Then it was fireworks time!!!!
P loves his cousin Kaden!
 And R watched with Jared!
It was a GREAT Pioneer Day!!!!
