Our day 2 started off pretty low key. We hung around the bed and breakfast for the morning, ate lunch there, then headed out for our day 2 adventures.
We first stopped by the Monticello LDS Temple. It was so little compared to what we are use to.
Funny story, a neighbor of mine who grew up there said that they actually added onto it to make it bigger. I can only imagine how small it was to begin!
Grandma Diane really wanted to visit Bluff Fort, just south of Monticello. I didn't really care what we did from this point on, because I saw my #1 Mesa Verde the day before!
This place actually ended up being VERY kid friendly, which was what our little heard needed. There were little handcarts like the pioneers would have used. Our kids got a kick out of pulling each other around in them.
They even convinced Uncle Mike to use the bigger handcart and pull ALL of them around!
They also loved riding these wooden horses.

This is a picture of the B&B in Monticello.
Location wise, it really is a good break off point to so many different places.
They have a guest house that we actually got to stay in. We all stayed in this house. The kids had the basement which had 3 bunk beds and a T.V.. Then upstairs there were 3 other bedrooms, filled with a mix of queen sized beds, and more bunk beds. With our big group, there were still empty beds. It fit us nicely!
Even though it was a pretty low key day, it ended up being a wonderful day.
