R had the chance for a summer day camp at the aquarium in Draper, so we were trying to figure out what to do with the little man. I decided we should try the Hutchings Museum of Natural and Cultural History in Lehi. I'm sure it doesn't compare to the state's natural history museum, but it was less than half the price!!!! :)
They have different rooms throughout the museum with different themes.
This was the first room we visited.
It was a bird room, with a random armadillo shell which P liked!

Then the rock room!
P's favorite room was the dinosaur room.
He got to "uncover" dinosaur bones
and check out some bones
He was in his element!
Then it was more of the cultural part and a little boring for P,
but he thought this kids toilet was hilarious!!!!

Then onto the Native American room
smashed corn with rocks
and played the Indian drum
This surprised me the most. P actually LOVED this. It is a morse code machine. They had the letters with the corresponding dots and dashes. He picked up on it REALLY quickly. He LOVED picking a letter in his head, doing the dots and dashes, and make us guess what letter he did. It was so cute!
Part of an old jail that was in Lehi!
Overall it was little, but did it's job of keeping us entertained while R was at her day camp!!!
