Christmas Day

We totally lucked out this Christmas with Jared and his job. He couldn't get Christmas day off, but was just on-call starting at 9am. So he was able to be with us Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

Again, Jared was the first one awake and was super excited about seeing the kids reactions! When they finally woke up we went to see what Santa left. The Santa Sack pictures didn't turn out too well because of low light, but here were the prized presents!

R was really funny! Santa wraps his presents and when she saw the box, she ran into her room and got one of her empty American Girl doll box. She ran back and measured it against the wrapped box. She was SOOOOO excited because it was the same shape and size!! Sure enough, she got what she wanted and danced around the room!

P's big present from Santa was a Jurassic World Lego set
It was the one he wanted too!
He really wanted the lego raptors!
Then we moved to presents under the tree.

My kids got me a GORGEOUS "Mom" necklace!
Then R helped Q with her stocking!
We had a little time before Bolen cousins arrived,
so the kids started playing with there new toys!

I don't think I took any pictures of presents with the Bolens! DUH!!!!

We then headed to my Grandpa's house for breakfast then raced over to the McSweeney's for presents and lunch! Check out this pile! Brighton was so funny! He just wanted to open presents. He didn't care who they belonged to. So we all had to keep an eye on him! :)

My kids eyeing their presents!
P with his new Lego from cousin Addie!

R with a game she loves from cousin Sydney!
Then it was lunch time!
Christmas Crackers!!!!
Sporting our crowns from the crackers!

It's a blurry picture, but Q borrowed cousin Addie's Elf hat and looked so cute!
Then we headed home for games with family, and Lego building!

We were all spoiled too much, but I think I saw that every year! I love Christmas and not just because of the presents, but all the traditions and family time!

Jared wasn't ever called into work so he was able to spend all day with us!
What a blessing that was! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
