Camping :)

Jared and I love camping. Since having kids we find it a little more difficult. Our car is a lot more packed, no more spur of the moment camping trips,  and no relaxing around the fire. But being able to camp as a family makes the whole experience a little more entertaining.

The Demings came up and spend the whole evening with us, but returned home to sleep. Kiara just had surgery and was very uncomfortable.  So Aurora played in our tent with our kids!

These 2 are SO funny when they are together. P would go on the outside of the tent window and they would both scream, then P would take off running back to the door. Then they would both laugh really hard!!!
Then R joined in on the fun and doggie piled on Rori! Poor girl, she is the smallest and on the bottom!
 DINNER!!!
There was a tiny hill (if you could even call it that), that entertained the kids for so long! They would run down it,
 and even slide down it!
All 3 kids had dirty bums like this.

Things I learned this trip:
1-GLOW STICKS! No kidding, my smartest idea. At night you put them around your kids and you can always see where they are.  Then bring them in your tent and they are the perfect nightlight to check on your kids while they are sleeping!
2-I am happy that we bought as big of a tent as we did. We are able to stand up in it. We also had enough room for Jared and I to sleep on an inflatable air mattress, R on a sleeping pad, and P in his portable crib. It was BRILLIANT!
3- If in a campground, be sure to get as close as you can to the bathrooms :)
