Dinner and Lights

 Every year close to my Grandma Val's birthday(who died when I was 8), my moms family(who live in Utah), and their families get together at the Old Spaghetti Factory in SLC.  This year we attempted something new. Frontrunner has been extended to Utah County as of December 5th. So we took advantage of this, and rode the train to SLC. 

My parents ALMOST missed the train. They were running, and I was standing in the door pleading with the train conductor that they were almost on. With the sympathy of a nice train worker,  my parents made it on!

My Grandpa Mac and Sharon also rode up with us.

 This is such a cute picture, minus the photo bomber in the back!

 My little man couldn't stop talking about riding the choo-choo. For days before that is all he "talked" about.  He was such a trooper. The poor kid was sick, but we couldn't NOT take him after all the hype!

 My Dad is reenacting the family picture at the zoo. :) lol

 I LOVE this picture of my kids. It kind-of reminded me of being in Sydney again!

 After dinner some of us ventured down to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. My little chubby man found his pockets, and I couldn't resist this picture!

 P, the sick one stayed awake the whole ride home from SLC. R on the other hand passed out pretty quickly on my mom's lap.

It was fun riding the train. No car seats for the kids always makes for happier kids!
