Easter-FINALLY!!!

 **************WARNING LOT OF PICS******************

We had so many Easter activities, but because I am so far behind posting them I will combine all the activities to one post!

Saturday Before Easter:

Springville always puts on an Easter "race"(that is what I have labeled it!). All the candy is spread out across the football field. Then the field is divided into sections depending on ages 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-11.  Mike and Laura came with their kids who are 4 and 6. So I sent R with them. I asked Laura to take a few pics of R, but as soon as the guy said go, R was gone!

I was with P. He didn't get it at first, but then caught on rather quickly!

The kid was SO funny. He would inspect each candy before putting it into his bag. He didn't pick up any smarties or certain color taffy. What can I say, the kid knows what he likes!
Then he would carry his basket around like this! :)
Sydney, Damion (R's cousins), and R
 Kyler(cousin), Michelle(green) Millie (purple)-neighbors, Kayla(cousin) and R!

Caught red handed, or should I say blue mouthed!
After the city's thing, we headed to my sister Missy's house for an Easter egg hunt! Mitch and Ev were in charge of hiding the eggs. They hid Missy's kids so hard it was funny to watch them search!
R helping P out, even though they were out in the open!

 Still searching!

P found all his eggs first, then found time to play with Mitch and Ev's dog Lexi.
 Then we colored some eggs!
P didn't care, he would throw the eggs into the bowls, then reach in with his whole hand to get it out!
 Then a picnic!

EASTER MORNING:

Looking at what the bunny brought!
 Then searching for the eggs!

Then dumping them out to see how much they got!
He is pretty easy to please!
"Mom do we have to stand here for a picture?"
"We will give a real smile if we can stand by the dogs!"
Aren't they cute in their Easter outfits?
Both kids got chalk from the bunny. R's was glitter chalk, and P got rainbow. While P was napping, R worked on a large drawing of her and her 2 cousins Kayla and Trisidee.
Funny girl doesn't have brown, so she used dirt! Worked rather well!
She is DEFINITELY a pint sized artist!
 LOVE IT!
 Her final product!
After P woke up we headed down to the McSweeney's for another Easter hunt and dinner!

Mia, Hallie, P, Lila, Sydney, R, and Damion!
Grandma had these "egg finding glasses" for all the kids!
P would NOT wear it over his eyes, but would keep it on his head!
You can tell how excited he is about it! :)
 Finding their eggs!

We do it the smart way! Each kid has a certain color. That way everyone gets the same amount!
With baby Brighton on the way, next year we will do a younger cousin hunt then an older cousin hunt.
Not enough colors!
 R had blue!
P was camo. He was VERY excited about more candy!

Dinner
Then that night we colored our own eggs
R took it very seriously!

Hope everyone had as great of an Easter as we did!
