Australia Post 2

We went with Grandpa Paul to church where we saw a family
who was in our ward down in Sydney. It was fun to see them again.

When we got home Grandpa Paul hid Easter eggs outside for the kids to find!
They loved looking for more chocolate!

We even got a HUGE chocolate egg!
The kids special egg and Grandpa Paul
I'm glad that we were able to celebrate this holiday in Australia with Grandpa!

The next day we went to a zoo near Grandpa Paul's house.
I was super excited because I was able to pet a wombat for the first time,
and made sure my kids got the chance too!

We saw this sign and took a picture with the most "gasey" people we know!
It says "Don't get too near my rear"

Q was super excited to be at the zoo!

We were able to feed camels!

These are Rainbow Lorikeets, one of Jared's favorite birds.
It was pretty cool to be able to feed them!

The kids enjoyed it, until more and more birds came and even landed on R's head.
Then they both started to freak out a little bit!
There is a koala in the tree behind them!

Koala lovin'

P was all about equality.
Making sure each got the same amount of food and pats on the back!
There isn't much better than kangaroo kisses! :)

We even fed deer, goats and sheep. This was the only picture worth posting.
The animals were all a little crazy. The goats even ate the paper bag the food was in. It made my kids a little uneasy. So this is P telling the deer who is boss! :)
One of my favorite pictures from the zoo. This was a headband in the gift shop.
I almost bought it, because she looks so dang cute as a koala!
We stopped at some random store Jared wanted to stop at.
We tried on some local hats!
This was part of the sign out front of the store.
We had to take a picture with the R

And this was as close as we could get for P!
Funny boy!

R added caption to this picture on the way home from the zoo, and it had us all laughing for days!

It was fun to explore a new zoo,
and to have Grandpa Paul with us made it all that much better!
