Australia Post 4

 It had been a busy, hot few days. Payton even got heat exhaustion and we almost took him to the doctors. Luckily he perked up after laying low for a day.

The next morning we loaded the car.

Saying goodbye to Grandpa Paul was really hard. 

My kids were trying to come up with ways they could stay with him. 

 Then we met up with Jared's cousin Bonnie and her girls for breakfast. 

Then headed back down to the Blue Mountains.

First stop was the Three Sisters

 We loaded back in the car to drive to the other side of the lookout to Scenic World.

 It started raining pretty hard on the way there, but luckily they have changed the way they do things there and when you pay to ride a ride, you now can ride whatever you wanted as many times as you wanted.  So with the rain we decided to take the tram down to the bottom first!

 It was actually pretty dry under the canopy of trees in the bottom!

 We explored on the boardwalks for a bit.

 Then rode the tram back up.

 This was the part I knew P would LOVE. I was totally right! 

It's the steepest railway in the world.

 They have since changed this too. It is now fully inclosed, and you can move your seat up or down depending on how "scary" you want your ride to be!

 They loved it!

 When in the bottom of the Blue Mountains, 

you have to take a picture here! :)

 Then we rode it back up and headed over to the Skyway. Its a really cool tram that goes across from one side of the cliff to another.

 Its really slow, but has a cool glass bottom part you can stand on while it goes across!

We got out and explored that side of the cliff for a bit, and found a beautiful waterfall.

We were a little shocked and wondered why we had never been there before!

 We rode the skyway back, and rode the train one last time.

It was a quick trip to the Blue Mountains, but the rain stopped enough for us to enjoy it!

We then drove down the mountains and spent the night with Jared's other Uncle.

Uncle Danny and Aunty Kelly. Again, I am lame and forgot to take pictures. They were amazing hosts, and my kids LOVED shooting their nerf guns at each other!
