What would you do for $400???

It was a warm and sunny day. We decided to hike to a waterfall up Payson Canyon. Just down from the trail head the winter gate was still locked. So we decided to park and just walk up the road. My brother-in-law Mike (Laura's husband) decided to bring his $400 remote control car with us.
We were all having a lot of fun until...

Mike accidentally drove it too close to the edge of the river and it fell in!!! They ran to get in front of it, and Jared almost grabbed it just before it went off this little waterfall and NEVER resurfaced.

So here is the question. What would you do for $400. Well, Mike went it to recover it!
Remember this river is all SNOW runoff! FREEEEEEEEEEEEZING!!! He tried to jab a long stick down where it was stuck.

Yes, I said DADS because poor freezing Mike couldn't get it by himself! Jared at least took his shirt off so that he would have something dry when he came back out!
Unfortunately they never found it! There was a deep hole where the water would come off the fall. With the hole and the force of the water, it was just being held in the hole! So we left to have an adventure at a waterfall. We just didn't expect it to be this little waterfall and the adventure of losing a $400 remote control car.
