Yellowstone Day 3

We started the morning off with a group picture! 

Then headed into the park.

Norris Geyser Basin was pretty cool

 The wind kept blowing the steam over us. 

Reagan liked trying to touch it!

 This is Steam Boat Geyser.

It is the World's Tallest Active Geyser

It is unpredictable and infrequent, 

but has been measured more than 300 feet high, 

but the frequent  minor eruptions are between 10-40 feet high.

 Then we made it to Mammoth Hot Springs.

Quinn had fall asleep in the car so I sent Payton with my camera. 

 Then we followed the road around to visit the gift shops, and bathrooms.

This was the part of Mammoth Hot Springs that I had seen in pictures 

so Quinn and I walked back a bit and got to see this part closer up!

 A much needed bathroom and ice cream break!

 Then we headed home for some Yardzee on the back deck.

 It was a pretty low key night. We played some games and just enjoyed each other's company!

It was such a wonderful trip. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Jared could have made it!
